Activate Tabnine in VS Code

Prerequisite:

Once Tabnine is installed in your IDE, you need to activate the Tabnine extension.

You can do this by using your existing account or creating a new one if you don't already have one.

If you're working with a remote IDE setup (e.g., Remote SSH, Docker, WSL, etc.) where the browser isn't available on the remote machine, .

Sign in to a Tabnine extension with your email address

  1. Sign in to your IDE plugin using one of the following methods:

  1. On the VS Code sidebar, click the Accounts icon:

  1. From the following menu, choose Sign in with Tabnine:

  1. Click the Tabnine logo on VS Code status bar to open Tabnine Hub:

  1. On the top right of Tabnine Hub, click Sign In (or Register if you don't have an account):

  1. The following screen will open in your browser. Enter your email and password and Sign In:

If you signed up using your work email, you'll receive a verification email to your email address.

Click the link in the email to verify your account.

  1. Return to the IDE and make sure the Tabnine extension is activated with your account. If the Tabnine extension was successfully activated, it will appear as follows: Within the Tabnine Hub:

Within the VS Code Accounts menu:
