Inline actions: Boost coding efficiency with inline responses

We’re thrilled to announce a new form factor for AI coding tasks within Tabnine: inline actions. Inline actions allow you to work directly on selected snippets of code — getting AI-enabled edits, fixes, refactoring, documentation, and more — with all responses generated inline.

Inline actions combine the best of our AI chat and code completions into a single interface. By delivering AI-generated code or edits within the same environment where you’re working, inline actions are a faster and easier method to create, refine, document, and fix code quickly.

Support for Cohere's Command R+ model

We've upgraded our support for Cohere’s models by transitioning to the Command R+ model (the latest model in the Command R family of models). The Command R+ model is now available as one of the LLMs to power our AI chat. Like with the other third-party models we support, all our AI chat interactions are supported with the Command R+ model. Additionally, when using the Command R+ model, Tabnine leverages your context — including locally available code and data in the IDE as well as the organization’s global codebase(s) — and provides highly accurate, personalized recommendations.
